Topics covered are bankruptcy, evictions, utility shut-offs, security deposit questions, landlord/tenant questions, small claims, SSI questions, family law questions, public benefits (Medicare/Medical assistance). Calls may be answered by a fact finder who asks about the specifics of the caller’s problem. The fact finder may then connect callers with a Helpline attorney, provide legal information pamphlets, or direct callers to another source of legal assistance. Calls are limited to 30 minutes.
