The Bureau of Aging and Disability Resources is the state agency mandated to administer aging programs in Wisconsin under various Titles of the Older Americans Act. The bureau’s mission is to “promote and assist in development of effective and efficient health and social service programs for the elderly to live as independently, comfortably, and in as dignified a manner as possible.” The bureau also develops policy and implements programs for persons who have a physical disability and persons in need of long-term care.
