The Board on Aging and Long-Term Care (BOALTC) advocates for the interests of the state’s citizens in need of long-term care, informs consumers of their rights, and educates the public at large about health care systems and long term care. The BOALTC operates the Long Term Care Ombudsman, Volunteer Ombudsman, Medigap Helpline Program, and Medicare Part D and Prescription Drug Helpline.
