The Friendship Line is funded and staffed by Institute on Aging, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in California. The Friendship Line offers both a crisis intervention hotline and a warmline for non-emergency emotional support calls. This service is open nationwide to any aging adult or person living with disabilities who suffers from depression, loneliness, isolation, anxiousness or may be thinking about death or suicide. Calls are completely confidential.
