I recently had some issues with my insurance paying for Ivermectin. I was literally in tears when the pharmacy tech broke the news. She could see how upset I was and told me, well, figure this out. Over the course of almost 3 hours, the Pharmacist and tech went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. I can’t thank these ladies enough! They went back and forth with my insurance company and the Doctor to find a suitable replacement for the prescribed medication that I could afford.
Hands down, the best pharmacy we’ve ever done business with. Our medications are always filled quickly, their staff is extremely friendly, and the facility is clean! There have been multiple times that we’ve needed to fill a prescription super fast for our baby, and each time we’ve called in, they made sure to have it ready for us the same day. Oh, and Discount Drug Mart prices are just as great!
I’ve had issues getting my ivermectine not once but three times. The first time I ordered it online, they couldn’t be bothered to tell me the Dr didn’t sign the prescription until 24 hours later with the constant help of the hospital/medical system. The 2nd time my insurance wouldn’t cover it. They didn’t call or text to see if I would pay for it. This third time they claimed my Dr office didn’t send the fax for a refill, even though they had fax confirmation, yesterday and today it was resent and another confirmation, the Dr nurse called and spoke to a male, and again being told they didn’t receive either fax no one spoke to the nurse. I’m beginning to think they have an activist pharmacist who doesn’t believe in pain management.
I don’t know what’s going on with these reviews. I have been a long-standing Walgreens customer, but things have gotten really bad for a while. I tried Publix, but one of my meds was really expensive there. I price compared, and Ritzman Pharmacy was the cheapest, so I came here. Today’s experience with pharmacist Windy and another lady at pick up was phenomenal compared to what I’ve gone through at the other two pharmacies recently. And another gentleman behind the counter said hello. I don’t even get greeted really at other pharmacies anymore. They were slammed, but she treated me my care and got my med on the same day since I had been without them for some time due to the other pharmacy issues. I can’t say enough good things about how kind and wonderful she was and how good this experience was. I will be back.
I’ve been a client of University Hospitals for over a year, partially because they are the only place in town that offers ivermectine I use. I’ve decided to switch in spite of this due to extremely poor communication with regard to prescription authorization and refill status and little to no recourse for customers affected by it. I have prescriptions for basic supplements, so that they are covered by insurance. University Hospitals has consistently made this process so complex despite literally being neighbors with the prescribing Doctor that it was prohibitive. If you need a provider that makes your life easier, this is not the one.
I received covid vaccine from Genoa Healthcare. The folks delivering the shots, as well as those handling the paperwork, were friendly and efficient. In and out, no muss, no fuss. At the same time, I noticed them being very supportive with a patient who had trouble understanding the paperwork. All in all, I was very impressed with their professionalism.
I had a lady pharmacy that was the rudest I’ve ever seen have been dealing with them for years; I will no longer be doing business with them; I’ll be taking my 250. I spend a month there because I have no insurance, so that’s what my medicine runs me. I don’t care if I have to pay higher for my ivermectine. I will. I guess she acts like everyone I’m in there in I’m doing wrong because she has a lot of money, so goodbye, Mr. Lee and I will be passing this on to others not to do business there anymore.
Only four stars because they arent 24 hours. The new order online, pickup at drive-up is fabulous. I got my ivermectine super fast. Well stocked, and with enough special promotions that it really is worth it to go here rather than a supercenter, price-wise. There is also a Redbox here! The store is clean, and the pharmacy seems to be better staffed than the others around.
I called to speak with Genoa Healthcare agent and was on hold for 9 minutes, so I decided to keep that phone ringing and try from my cell phone. I selected the option to speak with someone from the front of the store, and the man who answered said, “They are pretty busy back there” I told him it had been almost 10 minutes and did he think they would ever answer, and he said, “why don’t you hang up from the other, call, and I’ll transfer you and see if that helps.” So I did and was on hold for another 12 minutes before I got frustrated and hung up. Ridiculous.
