The Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) is also known as the Volunteer Driver Program. TAP uses vetted volunteer drivers to provide non-emergency, door-to-door transportation. All trips are provided using the volunteer’s personal vehicle. TAP provides transportation to adults 60 and older and people with cognitive or physical disabilities who live in Bayfield County and have no other means of transportation. There is a co-payment for each trip.
When possible, an attempt will be made to coordinate transportation requests with other existing public transportation resources.
Please contact the BART Mobility Manager at 715-682-9664 x104 to discuss all transportation options.
