The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) offers a free, confidential National Helpline open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. This treatment referral and information service is offered in English and Spanish for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders and provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations.
