In 2020, Wisconsin’s Attorney General and the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources (GWAAR) launched an elder abuse hotline to assist victims, family members, and concerned citizens in reporting abuse of older adults. The hotline is available for assistance in obtaining needed resources and making referrals to local authorities. Individuals who suspect that they are a victim of elder abuse or know someone who may be experiencing abuse are encouraged to learn more about the signs by visiting the website and/or making a report using the hotline.
