The WisLoan program offers loans for assistive technology or home modifications that help a person with a disability live more independently and productively. Independent Living Centers provide applications and technical assistance for this program, as well as assistive technology services. WisTech is Wisconsin’s assistive technology program funded under the AT Act of 1998 and provides information on selecting, funding, installing, and using assistive technology. WisTech’s website offers a searchable list of adaptive equipment for sale, loan, etc.

The purpose of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is to promote and maintain the health and well-being of nutritionally at-risk pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children. WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to other health and nutrition services.
